Media Coaching

One of our most sought after services, these prepartory sessions are designed to keep the client fresh and sharp for unexpected media interviews and scheduled discussions with reporters. This service can also be expanded to include preparations for interviews with sources besides the media. For Mennonite Central Committee, we conducted "mock interviews" with organization executives to help them prepare for an international press conference held in Washington, D.C. Our clients were familiar with every question reporters asked because it was covered ahead of time in our consulting sessions.

Press Release
Production & Editing

This service includes the composition and revision of compelling, fact-filled news releases to provide solid foundations for stories. We also develop story ideas and leads not included in press releases, which our clients can then pass on to reporters and editors. For Pennsylvania State Sen. Mike Brubaker, we provided comprehensive, multi-sourced press releases, which local news outlets often ran as submitted.

The "one-sheet" provides audiences and guests with a brief, readable glimpse of the speaker or candidate. For Scott Martin, who successfully sought the Republican nomination for Lancaster County Commissioner (in Pennsylvania), we prepared a well-defined resume that provided a GOP review panel with a comprehensive look at his career accomplishments, actualized goals and community-oriented services.

Campaign Literature

Development of campaign literature goes beyond the resume or "one-sheet" by providing the public and the media with a memorable message in a tangible format. Media Training

With more than 10 years of journalism experience as its foundation, Headline Consultants provides its newspaper, television or radio clients with training and advice on how to develop great stories, work with uncooperative sources and find great leads. Story structure, investigative techniques and working within the confines of deadlines and the Associated Press (AP) style are also components covered in the media training service.

For Wright Realty, Inc., we created a unique design and logo, and also developed two different kinds of listing searches for his real estate customers.
